I like lots of bubbles in my soda, can I make it super bubbly?
Yes, you can carbonate the water 1 – 3 times. Press down the button once if you like less bubbles and up to three times for more bubbles.

What are the bottles made from?
Our bottles are made from BPA free plastic. They have a life span of two years! And can be recycled at the end of their life.

Can I carbonate other liquids?
No, you can only carbonate water, then add your favorite fruit and flavors after carbonating.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 1-5 days. If you order before 12pm Mon-Fri your order will be dispatched the same day

How do I clean my soda maker?
The Soda Maker should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth in lukewarm water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp tools to clean. Wipe spills to keep base dry. DO NOT submerge in water or wash in a dishwasher.

Can I re-fizz a drink that is flat?
If you're drinking plain sparkling water, the answer is yes as long as the water reaches the water fill line on the carbonating bottle. However, if you already prepared a drink with flavor, the answer is no. Since only water can be carbonated in the Soda Maker, you cannot re-carbonate once you've added flavor.

How long does the sparkling water last before going flat?
Immediately put the lid back on the bottle after carbonating and store in a cool fridge and your soda will remain fizzy for many hours!

Do I need a special water system in order to use a MonTen soda maker?
No. You may use any type of water that you typically drink at home. However, we do recommend using COLD water to achieve best results.

I have small pieces of what appears to be ice in the water during carbonation, is this ok?
If this happens, shorten the duration of each press until the ice stops appearing or it can affect the carbonation. Any ice will simply melt.

It sounds like you may be out of CO2. If that is not the case, please contact our customer support team to troubleshoot the issue.

How do I know if my CO2 cylinder is empty?
Few things that tell you when your CO cylinder is empty: When you press the carbonating button you will not see any gas going into your bottle of water Even after repeated presses your water is not carbonated The carbonator splutters, showing you have run out of CO Pro-tip: keep a spare CO2 cylinder handy so that when one cylinder runs out, you simply swap the empty cylinder for a full one.

Can I refill my own CO2 cyliner or have it refilled locally?
No, Monten strongly advises against this. CO2 cylinders are filled with beverage-grade CO2 in compliance with exacting standards for food and beverage safety. Your local filling station may not be in compliance with these standards and could possibly introduce toxins into your CO2. Furthermore, unauthorized filling machines may cause damage to the cylinder.

How often will I have to replace my CO2 cylinder?
This depends on how often you make soda water. On average, the cylinder will make up to 60L of soda water, depending on the size you have. This number could be more or less depending on the amount of carbonation used when making your drink.

When I press the carbonating button on my soda maker nothing happens. Can you help me troubleshoot the issue?
Troubleshooting suggestions: 1. Tighten the cylinder into place to verify that it is full. 2. Ensure that your sparkling water maker is always in an upright position.

I can see water spurting from my MonTen soda maker, what does this mean?
Always be sure to fill to the marked water line on the PET bottle. Otherwise, the water could end up inside the machine. Over time, this might damage the soda maker.
